Transcendent Flesh, Sequential Selves: Newtown Art Seat
My series ‘Transcendent Flesh, Sequential Selves’ was commissioned for display in the newly built Newtown Art Seat by Caroline McLeod and the arts team at Marrickville Council. The Art Seat is in the middle of Newtown Proper near the Hub and Newtown Neighbourhood centre and is lit throughout the night. The figures were printed larger than life and had a beautiful otherworldly glow thanks to the backlighting in the site.
